Events & Raids
Spend RimBuks directly on things like care packages, animals, flashstorms, custom colonists, Colony Defenders, pawn possessions, and raids. Some options let you customize exactly what arrives.
Watch the stream, claim hourly RimBuk drops on this website, then spend your RimBuks to send events, create allies and threats, influence the colony, and help shape what happens in the game.
Sign in with Twitch and click Claim RimBuks when a drop arrives. Every hour live brings a shared drop: 500 RimBuks, or 750 total for paid, Prime, and gifted subscribers. Only the latest drop can be claimed; missed hours do not stack. The website does not need to stay open. Follow: +300 once. Cheer: +500 once per day. Gift a sub: +2,000 once per week to the gifter. Channel Points can still convert at 2 RimBuks per point when that Twitch reward is enabled.
RimBuks are the currency for viewer control. You can save them, spend them on your own, or put them into Community Goals with everyone else.
The control page is split into three main areas:
Spend RimBuks directly on things like care packages, animals, flashstorms, custom colonists, Colony Defenders, pawn possessions, and raids. Some options let you customize exactly what arrives.
Everyone can throw RimBuks into the same pool. When a goal fills, that event is triggered and the next copy of that goal becomes more expensive.
Viewers can vote on any research project the current colony can actually start. You can move your vote at any time, and the project with the most votes becomes the active research in RimWorld. Ties keep the current project.
Raid purchases let viewers choose the kind of threat and how many enemies to send. Animal raids use an exact animal type and count. Human raids can be outfitted with weapons, armor, special weapons, and an upgrade. Mech raids let you build a custom mech composition.
The price shown when you build the raid is the price for that purchase. After it is bought, the relevant enemy type and paid loadout parts inflate independently.
Custom Colonists let a viewer create a new colony member from the available name, role, appearance, xenotype, gene, and trait options.
Colony Defenders are permanent allied guards. Their base cost stays fixed, while paid weapons, armor, and implants have their own inflation.
Care Packages let you choose the exact supplies to drop, or add mystery items. The whole package is priced before you send it and arrives together.
Most things get 10% more expensive after they are purchased. This is permanent for the event, so heavily used options naturally become harder to spam.
Prices inflate independently. Buying one animal does not make every animal more expensive. Possession effects have their own prices, raid enemy types have their own prices, and paid raid or Defender components keep their own price histories.
For Community Goals, the goal target rises by 10% each time that specific goal is completed.
Purchasing something means it has been added to the game system, but not every effect can happen on the exact same frame. If the game is not ready for an action yet, it waits until it can safely happen.
Raids are especially protected. The system limits how many hostile creatures or pawns can be active at once, so a pile of purchased raids may arrive one after another instead of all spawning on top of each other.
Some actions also depend on the current game state. For example, Possess a Colonist needs an available colonist, and some Community Goal events need the right map or conditions.
Choose one of Max's current colonists and force a single effect such as Berserk, Food Binge, Tantrum, Corpse Obsession, Work Frenzy, Go Frenzy, or Shoot Frenzy.
There is no artificial possession cooldown. Once an effect is triggered, the game handles that state normally, and the same pawn can be possessed again.
Your contribution does not disappear if it is larger than the amount needed to finish the current goal. Extra RimBuks spill over into the next activation of that same goal.
If a completed Community Goal cannot happen immediately, it stays queued until the game can run it.
Max can pause purchases while the stream is offline. You can still browse the site, but spending is blocked until purchases are turned back on.
Earn RimBuks, pick something funny, and make Max deal with the consequences.
